With all that Smoke there must be Fire somewhere..

Yes, the fire is here on my blog. I believed smoke can create beautiful patterns until recently I proved myself when I took this picture. Well, how I took it is my little secret and I will let you scratch your brains over this.

Please enjoy the snap and let me know your expert comments and suggestions.

About Smoke:

1) A cloud of fine particles suspended in a gas

2) A hot vapor containing fine particles of carbon being produced by combustion

3) Something with no concrete substance

4) For Automotive geeks, smoke is a suspension in air of small particles resulting from incomplete combustion of fuel. It is commonly unwanted but may also be used for pest control and communication. Smoke sometimes also is a component of internal combustion engine exhaust gas, particularly diesel exhaust

5) Smoke is an American motion picture released in 1995

6) Smoke also known as Unit LK7T2, is a fictional character in the Mortal Kombat video game franchise

7) Smoke is an album by Paul Kelly and Melbourne bluegrass band, Uncle Bill, released in 1999

About Smoke and Bollywood:

1) Bollywood blamed for teenage smoking

2) The government said no new films or TV programs can portray smoking and old films must carry warnings if they do

3) About 800,000 Indians die a year from smoking-related illness

4) We all smoked because of the peer group, not because people in cinema were smoking - Bollywood producer Shyam Benegal

5) Superstar Shahrukh Khan announced, that he would try to quit smoking, on the eve of his 40th Birthday

6) It is a good move to ban smoking because a lot of young children tend to imitate actors - Actress Kareena Kapoor

Enjoy,

Thanks for visiting.

Dude,
Try to put EXIF data of the pictures. Just right click on the picture, go to properties - advanced and you will get all the info. You can use Adone Photoshop or Picassa too for knowing the EXIF data. Use Adobe PS CS2 for better contrast and sharpness.
The strings of smoke would have looked much better if they had been sharper. Nice try to capture the smoke. Keep up the good work.

PS: BTW I know your secret of how you took this picture. I have been trying to take picture of this kind for a long time, just couldnt get the set up right.
